Kallang Open Slow Pitch
Hey Axis! Just to give you guys some heads up, the Kallang Open Slow Pitch is in 3 days!
For those who could not make it for today's short briefing after training, here's some of the information we discussed i.e. some of the more important rules of the game.
-The batter always starts with ONE ball and ONE strike. After two strikes, he/she will be declared out on the next foul ball.
-No bunting, stealing or taking leads.
-No sliding or diving at first base and home.
-For players running home, you must step on the black mat behind the home plate
-Between home and 3rd base, about one-third of the distance (nearer to 3rd base), there will be a line of no return. Once crossed (any part of your body cross), you have to run home because it is forced run.
-When batting please take note that you must be within the batter's box
These are the more important rules of the games so you all need to take note. In addition, these are the updated timings for our games.

Oh and remember to wear the grey axis jersey if you have it because it is compulsory that all players have numbers.
Lastly, have a good rest the night before the competition and take good care of yourselves okay :)
See you all on Saturday and let's make our games spectacular (in a good way, of course)... Jiayous~!
Cheers,
Jasmine
P.S. One other important thing that EVERYONE have to take note of is that if someone loses a softball, he/she will have to be responsible and compensate for it be it buying a brand new ball to replace or paying ball's cost to the club fund.
However, if a ball is lost by a group of people, those present will be pay for it among themselves. For example, after one training, we realised that a ball is missing and we can't find it. We don't know who lost it, so everyone attending that training will share the cost of the ball.
Therefore, to avoid unnecessary problems, let's all be responsible and take care of our equipment. Shall we? :)
