Kallang Slow Pitch + Softball Video Stills
HEY!!!
Here's the much delayed post on Kallang Slow Pitch and our softball promo video shoot. I shall let the photos do the talking first :)
This competition's MVP goes to Jeremy...
Pardon me for the lack of photos since I was busy being a catcher (not a very good one though :X) and sorry for not photoshopping the photos.
Overall, the competition was a good experience and it's my first time playing in a competition. Kudos to Shuya and Hem for improving tremendously and putting effort in the games. Everyone else worked hard too so good job guys, give yourself a pat on the back! Whatever mistakes made please try to fix it and let's look forward to another competition ahead *hints hints*... We will do even better!
Moving on, here are some photos taken on our softball video shoot inspired by the BYU softball photo shoot (just search youtube)... Our full photo album can be viewed
HERE...
Looks cool right? So look out for the promo video soon! To be released on
16 April 2012. Muahahahaha!!! :D
Cheers,
Jasmine

Rules and Regulations
Hi Axis, here's an update for those who didn't attend the softball meeting on Friday. For those who attended, here's a refresher :)
Below are the rules of the club. Please read and adhere to them :)
No smoking in campus/smoke-free facilities/public areas
- If caught, Neo will dutifully report you to SDAR/NP authorities
- Expulsion from club
Proper sporting attire i.e. no slippers or training barefooted is allowed etc
- Punishment will be carried out
- Indefinite suspension
Storage of personal equipment is allowed i.e. boots, gloves etc
- Only for regular members
- Boots need to be kept in a shoe bag and slot neatly onto the rack
- Equipment must be dirt-free (for equipment without bag or packaging)
Reporting late for training without explanation beforehand
- Punishment will be carried out
- Indefinite suspension
Absence for training without explanation beforehand
- Punishment will be carried out
- Indefinite suspension
- Expulsion from club
Loss of club/school equipment
- Cost to be bore by the individual who lost the equipment
- Else cost will be distributed among members present during the point of disappearance
That's for the club's rules and regulations... Other thing covered in the meeting are certain basic values, that our members should have.
-Discipline
E.g. Having basic courtesy to inform Neo/Xavier/Brandon/Cat/Jeremy beforehand if you will be late for training or you cannot make it for the training.
-Responsibility
E.g. All of us should be responsible for the club's equipment. We should all be responsible for the club because the club don't just belong to one person.
Committee members should be responsible for their roles and more for e.g. taking attendance.
-Respect
We should respect one and another as fellow teammates. When committee members such as Brandon mass message everyone, we should at least reply and acknowledge. No one in any case should send mean or insulting messages to scold the person mass messaging. Likewise, committee members should also show respect to the rest of the members. Everything work in both ways.
-Communication
There should be more communication in club and in the field during games. Simple cheers and encouragement helps. We are not strangers. We are a team! \(^.^)/
Please read Neo's previous blog post for more enlightenment.

Lastly, for the CCA fiesta let's work hard to get more recruits! If you can make it, please volunteer to mend the CCA booth from 16-18 April. If interested please let Neo know by 4 April 2012 because he needs your details for excuse letters! :)
Thank you! :)
Cheers,
Jasmine
