Friendly with Anglican High
Hey, since I was in the mood, I decided to quickly do a post on the friendly match we had with Anglican High on Monday, 18 June 2012. It was a friendly fast pitch game and only for the guys :/ Girls, we must have our own games soon k!
Okay, back to the topic. So yea, it was a fast pitch game and I'm sure for some of the members, it was the first or one of the first few fast pitch games you guys played. I hoped it was a pleasant and enriching experience~ In future, we should have friendlies more often because there are just some things that cannot be taught in training. You have to experience it yourself to understand :) Okay, enough of talking, here some of the photos of the friendly match! :D Sorry, I didn't post any photos of the game itself because the photos were all too ugly due my bad photog skills so... Yea.

Anyhoo, although I didn't get to play, I managed to learn a few things while watching the game. Even we kind of won the friendly, I feel that we definitely could have played better. I feel that in some ways the team let their guard down because we were playing against secondary school kids. One evidence is we allowed a home run because every base fumbled.
Other than that, there were also other times that the team made mistakes. Okay, maybe I'm not the best of judge since I wasn't the one fielding or catching. It could have been tough, I don't know but this is what I thought of as a spectator. Yupps. So that's the end of the Anglican High Friendly blog post :)

Pre-Competition Outing and Usports Slowpitch Softball Mania 2012 (part 1)
Hey people, sorry for the much delayed blog post. Anyway, as the title states, this post will be about our Sentosa Outing and Softball Mania competition. I can tell that everyone has gotten closer to each other and this is evident from our notorious softball scandal list which will be post at the end of this post :D
Anyhoo, on 19 May 2012 we had a softball outing at Sentosa which aimed to bond everyone before the slowpitch. Unfortunately, not everybody managed to come down but it's okay! We will have another outing soon :) Meanwhile, here are some of the photos taken with the courtesy of Catherine...

Overall, I would say the outing was a success. Some of us got competitive during the volleyball games and it would be great if were half as noisy during softball competitions. Remember we need to stay spirited and energetic in competitions too. Do more cheers like how we cheer for our own teams - Men in Black and Pinky :) Lol! Anyway, I hoped that those who came for the outing found it fun and the outing managed to bond us closer. Oh and what was shared during the outing STAYS AT THE OUTING, K!
Anyhoo, so weeks after the softball outing, it comes the BIG day - Softball Mania 2012! We managed to get 5th out of 6th during the qualifying rounds. Slight improvement from Kallang Open. Here are the photos! :D

This slowpitch is the first time where the juniors and seniors played a game together. I feel that we could have done better. I made a lot mistakes during the game too. There will another game this Saturday so let's make the game a spectacular one. In short, just remember what was shared during the reflection session like what are your bad habits and mistakes. And as Cat and Neo have said, this team definitely has potential we just need to unleash it. Muahahahaha!!!
Okay moving on, my favourite part. The Axis Wall of Scandal! :) There is an influx of scandal submissions this term. I think it is safe to say that everyone is related to each other. HAHA.

I present to you guys that candidates for this semester scandalous couples award :)
1) Wiltherine (sounds like Wolverine, I know): Catherine and Wilson (who is in Tekong) -.-"
This couple has been together since last year when Catherine just came into softball. The funniest thing is Catherine refuses to admit until Wilson left for Tekong. It seems like their relationship is strong and stable eh :) BUT no! Catherine had to cheat on Wilson while he is in Tekong without his phone, twitter or computer. Le sigh... Anyway, here a photo of them which I posted last time but I'll post again!
2) Caremy (sounds like Caramel): Catherine and Jeremy
Who else is a better match other than our own Captain and Vice Captain? I thought love conquers all and we would blow away our opponents during the slowpitch with Cat as pitcher and Jeremy as catcher but apparently not. They were too busy in their own world :O Couldn't find better photo but oh wells... Better than nothing right!
3) Sufiqah: Afiqah and Sufyan
Yes, the first new junior couple who coincidentally stay in the same area :) Sufyan even gamely admit Afiqah is his wife. Therefore, this is one couple that is definitely meant to be! Hahaha, apparently they even have kids already :O So fast eh? Anyhoo, a couple photo for you guys. Once again, I apologise for the bad photoshop.
4) Parkreel: Park and Jazreel
Afiqah said it sounds like "F**k you!" but now now, let's leave out the vulgarities of their relationship. This couple got together during the Sentosa outing. See! Outings definitely help to create more relationships :D Ooh! And apparently, they are in the midst of expecting babies as Sufyan says... Good luck!
5) JeRebeNeo - pronounced as Jeah-rabber-neeyo (name at the courtesy of Afiqah): This love triangle consist of Rebecca, Jeremy and Neo
Rebecca and Neo are course mates so they already know each other outside of training and of course sparks flew. But Jeremy had to injure Rebecca many many times with his wild pitches. So he has no choice but to take responsibility and marry her. This relationship is damn complicated I tellya!
6) Park and Sufyan (I decided to name them the shit-their-pants couple).
This couple is so engrossed and dedicated to training and competitions that they always kena mud on the pants which makes them look like they shit their pants - therefore the name. This couple is also damn hilarious :) They got married on Monday, 18 June 2012 in Anglican High~ But I have a feeling they go way back ever since the Sentosa outing :O (see the above photo in the Sentosa outing section)
7) Sufyan and Leonard (I have no idea what to name this couple)
This couple made it into the scandal headlines with this photo.
But whether they are real still needs to be confirmed. IF ONLY Leonard came to training more often hurh...
8) Daryl and Desmond.
I have no idea why they are a couple but they had to be a couple to be in the scandalous couple whatsapp group so they are a couple now with Daryl sweetly buying breakfast for Desmond in the morning before training. HAHA.
9) Park and Desmond
This couple officially got together in training yesterday. They are a quarrelsome pair with Desmond scolding Park for not washing the laundry and making him wash the dishes. Park is blur as usual and during batting he called Desmond stupid and they quarreled over what height the tee stand should be. Seriously funny :D
Okay, that marks the end of the Axis Wall of Scandals :) Below are some more scandalous photos and maybe the couples would make it into the Wall of Scandals next time so I have more to write about as a publicist :) There are quite a number of lonely people out there who need scandals in the club.
